Submitting an Abstract:

Why can't I see the form to submit an abstract? 

In order to submit an abstract, you need to be logged in to www.environmentalpeacebuilding.org.

  • Go to www.environmentalpeacebuilding.org.
  • In the upper right corner, there are two links:  “Login” and “Sign Up”.
  • If you have an account, click on “Login”.  If you have forgotten your password, please click on “I’ve lost my password.”
  • If do not have an account, click on “Sign Up”.  You will need to enter your name, organization, email, and password.  For those who want to join the Environmental Peacebuilding Association, you can continue to payment.  For those who do not want to pay, you can stop here.  It is not necessary to pay or join the Association to create a profile or to participate in the symposium.

Travel:

Will I need a visa to travel to Innsbruck?

Visa requirements to travel to Austria vary by country. Visa applications often need at least 2 to 3 months–or longer. Visa support letters can be provided by the University of Innsbruck only after attendance is confirmed.

 

For these reasons, if you need a visa, we encourage you to complete registration as soon as possible (and no later than February 15, 2027).    

 

Accommodations:

What are my options for accommodations in Innsbruck?

While there is no official symposium hotel, the symposium organizers are working to identify a range of options for attendees to consider.

 

Registration fee:

Is there a registration fee?

There is a registration fee for people participating in-person.  The standard rate is EUR 180, and the reduced rate (for students, early-career researchers, civil-society representatives, and participants from low- and middle-income countries) is EUR 90.  The fee covers the expenses associated with the coffee break, three lunches, a dinner, and an evening reception.

 

What if I cannot afford the registration fee?

A fee waiver is available for participants who are unable to pay. Please note that we are able to provide lunch and dinner only to those who pay the registration fee.
