The 2026 edition of the Global Report on Food Crises is the 10th edition of the report. For 10 years the Global Network Against Food Crises and partners have been producing a critical analysis and a global reference point on global food insecurity and malnutrition.

The 10th edition of the Global Report on Food Crises confirms that in 2025, acute food insecurity remained widespread in countries/territories with food crises. For the first time in the 10-year history of the GRFC, two famines (in parts of Gaza Strip and the Sudan) were confirmed in the same year. A risk of famine persists for the Gaza Strip, Sudan and South Sudan in 2026.
