Food, land, and water systems (FLWS) in the Global South face a “polycrisis” driven by climate change, demographic shifts, increasing pressure on natural resources, and rising inequalities. These intersecting pressures threaten livelihoods, particularly for women, youth, and socially excluded groups, and risk deepening inequality and exclusion. In response, the forthcoming flagship report by the CGIAR Gender Equality and Inclusion Accelerator offers a forward-looking, evidence-based agenda to promote a transformation towards equitable and inclusive FLWS by 2050.
